The draft tax return prepared by the Hungarian National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) often makes matters much easier for individuals. However, certain types of income, personal circumstances, and tax allowances may mean that the draft needs to be reviewed, supplemented, or amended.
When preparing your personal income tax return, we do more than simply ‘submit the draft’. We also review the circumstances that may affect your tax liability or the allowances available to you.
We can assist you with, among other things:
- reviewing and supplementing the draft personal income tax return prepared by NAV;
- claiming family and other personal tax allowances;
- declaring income received from multiple employers or other sources;
- determining the tax treatment of income from the sale of real estate;
- declaring rental income from real estate;
- handling income from self-employment and other separately taxed income;
- reviewing personal income tax matters related to foreign-source income;
- assessing opportunities for tax refunds and reclaiming overpaid tax.
Just because NAV has prepared the draft does not mean it necessarily knows everything about you that your tax return should reflect.
We review, calculate, and verify the figures to ensure that your return is not only completed, but is also correct based on the information you provide to us.
Clicking the ‘Accept’ button is easy. Deciding whether you should actually click it can sometimes be rather less so.
